Solution for use in drinking water
Composition :
Each 1ml contains:
Sulfadiazine 200 mg
Trimethoprim 40 mg
Properties:
Sultrimart oral solution is combination of Sulfadiazine and trimethoprim. lock into two different phases and subsequent synthesis of folic acid, which isessential for the development of bacteria. The effect of this double sequential block is manifested bybactericidal action broad spectrum (Gram-positive, gram-negative and some protozoa) comprising alsomicroorganisms insensitive or resistant to one or other of the two components.The association allows to obtain, in addition to the potentiation of chemotherapy, also a therapeutic effect atlower dosages compared to the use of the individual active principles.. . In particular they are sensitive to the association Actinobacillus spp., Arcanobacterium spp.,Clostridium spp., E. coli, Enterobacter spp., Haemophilus spp., Klebsiella spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Vibrio spp. and coccidia. Indications:
For the treatment of:
Coccidiosis caused by: Eimeria necatrix and Eimeria tenella
Colibacillosis caused by: E coli
Pasteurellosis caused by: Pasteurella multocida
Target Species:
Broiler chickens
Dosage & route of administration:
Route: Orally with drinking water.
For whole product:
2-3 ml of solution / liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
In the case of coccidiosis perform two treatments of 3 days interspersed by 2 days of solution.
Warnings :
-Observe the minimum doses in climatic conditions that increase water consumption. In case of prolonged therapy (anticoccidial therapy) is recommended to administer vitamin K.
-Do not use in acidic water.
– The use of the product should be based on the bacteria isolated from animals susceptibility testing. If this is Not possible, therapy should be based on local epidemiological information (regional, farm). The improper use of the product may increase the prevalence of bacteria resistant to potentiated sulphonamides and may Decrease the effectiveness of treatment with other categories of antimicrobials, due to the possible cross-resistance.
– People with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product.

Side effect:

Contra-indications:
-Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamide or impaired hepatic or renal function.

-Avoid concomitant use with other medicinal products for high-affinity binding to plasma proteins.
-Do not mix with other medicinal products.

Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C, in dry place and used immediately after opening
