Each 100 gm contains:
Apramycin Sulphate 100 gm Equivalent to Apramycin Base 68.75 gm
Apramycin is aminocyclitol antibiotic and bactericidal against many gram negative bacteria (E. coli, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pasturella, Treponema hyodysenteriae, Bordetella bronchiseptica), Staphylococcus and Mycoplasma. Its mechanism of action is by preventing protein synthesis by susceptible bacteria, presumably by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit.
