Nitroxynil ( as N-ethylglucamine Salt ) 340 gm
Nitroxynil is a halogenated phenol which is effective against Fasciola hepatica with some activity against gastrointestinal nematodes (Haemonchuscontortus). Its mode of action is as an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation.
For the treatment and control of nitroxynil sensitve strains and triclabendazole resistant strains of early immature (incl. 2 week old stages), immature & adult liver fluke in cattle
treatment of fascioliasis (infestation of mature and immature Fasciola gigantica, Fasciolahepatica) in cattle. It is also effective, at the recommended dose rate, against adult and larval infestations of Haemonchuscontortus in cattle andHaemonchusplacei, Oesphagostomumradiatum and Bunostomumphlebotomum in cattle.
Cattle (Beef and non-lactating dairy cattle)
Route: subcutaneous injection only (Inject high on the neck behind the ear)
Cattle: 10mg nitroxynil per kilogram bodyweight.
Cattle: 1.5 ml product/50 kg BW
Transitory discomfort has been observed in some cattle following subcutaneous administration. Soft-tissue swelling and/or slight pain at the injection site has also been observed. These reactions have disappeared without treatment.
MEAT: DO NOT USE LESS than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.Calves born to cows that have been treated with the product Injection during pregnancy must not be slaughtered for human consumption for 28 days after treatment of the dam.
MILK: DO NOT USE in cattle which are producing or may in the future product milk where the milk or milk products may be used for human consumption
At temperature not exceeding 30◦c and to be used immediately after opening.
Clear colorless glass type II of 20, 50, 100, 250 and 500 ml and 1 L.
