Solution for use in drinking water

Composition :
Each ml contains:
Toltrazuril 25 mg.
Properties:
Toltrazuril is an anticoccidial of the triazinetrione group, active against Eimeria spp (E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix, E. tenella in Chickens) and (E. adenoides , E. meleagrimitis in Turkeys). Toltrazuril induces changes in the fine structure of the developmental stages of coccidia. These are caused primarily by swelling of the endoplasmic reticulum and of the Golgi apparatus, abnormal changes to the perinuclear space and disturbances in cell division. Toltrazuril causes a decrease in the activity of respiratory chain enzymes in the parasites.
Indications:
It is used for treatment of:
Coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys, caused by infections with various species of Eimeria.
•Chickens (pullets, broilers, and breeders): Eimeria acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix and E. tenella.
•Turkeys: Eimeria adenoides and E. meleagrimitis.
Target Species:
•Chickens (pullets, broilers, and breeders).
•Turkeys.
Dosage & route of administration:
Route of administration: Oral administration via the drinking water.
For whole product:
-2.8 ml of product / Liter drinking water. The medicinal product should be administered continuously over 24 hours per day
for 2 consecutive days.
– In case an automatic dose dispenser is used the medicinal product should be administered for one period of 8 hours per day for 2 consecutive days.
-Medicated drinking water should be refreshed every 24 hours.
Withdrawal Periods:
•Chickens ( pullets ,broilers, and breeders):
Meat and offal: 16 days.
•Turkeys:
Meat and offal: 16 days
Eggs: Not authorized for use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption. Do not use within 4 weeks of onset of laying.
Contra-indications:
•Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Drug – drug Interaction:
•Combination of the product with antibiotics may result in reduced water intake in turkeys.
•The concomitant administration of other substances to the drinking water should be avoided
Storage:
•Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C , 3 months after opening when Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C
