Composition :
Each Liter contains:
Ivermectin 15 g
Triclabendazole 240 g
Properties:
Sanojenmecto is a combination contain Ivermectin and Triclabendazole . Triclabendazole is a flukicide belonging to the benzimidazole group of anthelmintics. It is well established that benzimidazole anthelmintics selectively bind to ß-tubulin, thus causing the depolymerisation of microtubules and the subsequent disruption of microtubule-based processes in helminths . Ivermectin is a mixture of two compounds belonging to the avermectin family, which are a macrocyclic lactone group of endectocides. Avermectin is a microbial metabolite of the soil organism Streptomyces avermitilis .It is generally accepted that ivermectin exerts its action in two main ways, interference with neurotransmission and opening chloride ion channels. The effect of ivermectin on the parasitic CNS is considered to operate through glutamate-mediated chloride channels. Compounds of this class may also interact with other ligand-gated chloride channels, such as those gated by the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).The opening of pre-synaptic chloride ion channels results in an efflux of chloride ions and depolarisation of the nerve terminal. These effects interfere with normal neurotransmission between nerves and muscles, resulting in parasite paralysis and eventual death.
Indications:
For the treatment of infections with the following parasites.:
• Gastro-intestinal nematodes
– Adult and immature (L4): Small Brown Stomach Worm (including inhibited stages)(ostertagi). Barber’s Pole Worm (Haemonchus placei), Stomach Hair Worm (T richostrongylus axei), Intestinal Hair Worm (T. colubriformis), Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia spp.), Nodule Worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum); and
-Adult stages of Cooperia oncophora, C. punctata, Oesophagostomum venulosum, Whip Worm (Trichuris spp.), Intestinal Threadworm (Strongyloides papillosus)and
– Immature stages (L4.) of Thin Necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus spp.).
•Lungworm (adult and immature) Dictyocaulus viviparus.
•Eyeworm Thelazia spp. (adult stages).
•Liver Fluke (adult stages) Fasciola hepatica.
•Biting and Sucking Lice
•Biting Louse (Bovicola bovis), Long-Nosed Sucking Louse (Linognathus vituli), Short-Nosed Sucking Louse (Haematopinus eurysternus), Small Blue Sucking Louse (Solenopotes capillatus).
•In field trials, treated cattle remained lice free for up to 85 days post-treatment.

Dosage & route of administration:
Route of administration:
•For single topical administration
•Should be applied along the topline in a band extending from the middle of the back to the tailhead.
For whole product:
•1 mL for each 10 kg.b.wt
•The interval between 2 treatment should be at least 28 days .
Withdrawal Periods:
• Meat: Don’t use less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
• Milk: Don’t use on dairy cows except replacement heifers.
• Don’t use on dairy replacement heifers within 70 days (10 weeks) of calving.
• Where product is accidentally given within this period or should any cows calve earlier than 70 days after treatment, milk may contain residues. This milk must not be used for human consumption, or supplied for processing for at least 70 days following treatment. Calves fed this milk should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 28 days.
Contra-indications:
• Don’t use in dairy cows except replacement heifers.
• Don’t use in dairy replacement heifers within 70 days (10 weeks) of calving.
• Contraindicated for oral or parenteral use.
• Product is formulated only for external application to cattle,Do not use in other species.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
• Do not combine ivermectin treatment with vaccination against lungworms. If vaccinated animals are to be treated, treatment should not be carried out within a period of 28 days before or after vaccination.
Storage:
•Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C .
