Composition:
Each Kg contains:
Diclazuril. 5 g.
Properties:
Diclazuril is an anticoccidial of the benzene acetonitrile group and has an anticoccidial activity against .Depending on the coccidia species, diclazuril has a coccidiocidal effect on the asexual or sexual stages of the development cycle of the parasite. Treatment with diclazuril causes interruption of the coccidial cycle and of excretion of oocysts for approximately 2 to 3 weeks after administration.This leads to complete degeneration of schizonts & gamonts. It is active against Eimeria spp. as Eimeria acervullina, E.maxima, E.tenella.
Indications:
For the Prevention of coccidiosis in :
• Broilers chicken : caused by Eimeria acervullina, E.maxima, E.tenella,.
Target Species:
Broiler chickens .
Dosage & route of administration:
Route of administration: Taken orally via feed.
For whole product:
– 200 gm premix/tonne in the finished feed.
– Fed continuously as the only ration from one day old.
Contra-indication:
• Do not leave or dispose of the product where it may accessible to animals not under treatment,or to wildlife.
• Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• Do not use with pellet binding agents except Pel-Aid or Lignin Sulfonate.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
• Diclazuril should not be mixed with other coccidiostats.
Side effects:
• No specific adverse effect have been reported.
Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes), if necessary:
• Diclazuril is of low toxicity, and is commercially available in formulations for oral administration. It is registered for broilers
Withdrawal Period(s):
Meat: Nil
Eggs: Not for use in birds from which eggs are produced for human consumption.
Storage conditions:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in dry place ,keep the plastic bag in the plastic jar to protect from light.
Packagings:
100,250,500 and1000 gm plastic jar.
